Appearances can of course be deceiving, but the way in which you present yourself could make all the difference. Looking composed, calm and self-assured is of the utmost importance. It’s not enough to feel confident about your abilities; you need to transmit that sense of confidence to the other person.

Whether it’s your university tutor, your former employer or your first client, there will be someone you’ve helped successfully and they will be able, and willing, to tell others about it.

Once you have convinced someone to trust you, don’t flake! Keep your promises and, if that is for some reason impossible, explain the situation, apologise and find a way to make it up to them.

Human beings may be emotional creatures who usually act upon feeling, but even behind the most instinctive decisions lies a rational explanation. Webinars are an online seminar or workshop delivered over the internet.  A webinar is a live meeting that takes place over the web. The meeting can be a presentation, discussion, demonstration, or instructional session. Participants can view documents and applications via their computers, while shared audio allows for presentation and discussion. Webinars are an amazing way to build traffic to your site and as any business knows, you need traffic to get leads and you need leads to make money. Many companies report that when they start using webinars, traffic to their site jumps. This is mainly because webinars that use engaging and in-demand topics attract people far more than written marketing mediums.

Webinars are akin to video, which is boasting extraordinary statistics in the online market place. According to Forbes, 65% of executives have visited a vendor’s site after watching a video. Marketing Professionals reports that 70% of marketer’s report that video converts better than any other medium and Mist Media says that the average Internet user spends 88% more time on a website with video.

However, webinars are even better than video since there is a live presenter, more customer engagement and even Q&A sessions that allow for audience participation.

Webinars provide the perfect solution for any business wanting to succeed and engage the enormous global audience that is the Internet. You already have the expertise of your business and webinars will help you not just establish yourself as an expert, but as an authority.

A webinar is simply an online seminar. It is hosted through some type of webinar platform, which includes the use of video, images, desktop sharing, polling, branding, chat rooms and much more.

Webinars are a very cost-effective marketing tool because they allow you to engage an unlimited number of people and reach your target audience in a virtual setting that is dynamic and far more interesting than written content or a cold sales page.

Reaching and engaging a very targeted audience is easy as those who sign up and attend are truly interested in the topic that is being presented, so the presell value is extraordinary.

Q: Why do people like attending webinars ?

Webinar are appealing for lots of reasons. I like attending webinars because they’re interesting and educational at the same time. I almost always learn something when I’m attending a webinar, and because there are audio AND visual components, they’re super engaging.

I also feel like I can learn a lot about someone when they present a webinar. There’s something about hearing a person’s voice, listening to how they present, hearing their stories, that gives me a bit of insight into who that person is (and most importantly, whether or not I can trust them).

I’m not sure if I should admit this publicly or not, but I am an absolute sucker for a well-delivered webinar. If someone presents a good webinar, then offers me a relevant and reasonably-priced program or product, I’m probably going to dig out my wallet and buy it.

I will be the first to admit that I buy too many online products — and webinars are one of the reasons why!

Q: Why should I consider adding webinars to my marketing, or (teaching )  ?

Webinars are an incredibly persuasive way to deliver a sales pitch, if you want to use them for sales, and a webinar is a great tool for delivering content when you’re teaching or coaching, too.

If you’re not currently using webinars as part of your online strategy, it’s worth your while to look into whether they might be a good fit for you, your audience and your business model.
